Catharine Baker has represented California’s 16th Assembly District since 2014. Before joining the Assembly, she worked as an attorney, advising small businesses, individuals, and non-profits. Catharine earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and a law degree from UC Berkeley. She has also worked as a Senior Legislative Aide to Congressman Sonny Bono, and a federal court clerk. Catharine is married to her college sweetheart Dan; the two live in Dublin with their two children.
